Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Oversee staffing needs, recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations while nurturing a positive and motivated team environment.
• Clinical Excellence: Champion evidence-based practices, analyze clinical data, and drive continuous improvements to ensure person-centered care.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with the CEO and other healthcare leaders to ensure seamless operations across departments and maintain open communication with residents, staff, and external providers.
• Educational Development: Advocate for the professional growth of your team by developing training programs and ensuring the nursing staff remains current with clinical competencies.

Qualifications for Success

• Education: A graduate of an accredited nursing school, with a BSN or MSN preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: A valid RN license, CPR certification, and a driver’s license. DNS-CT or CDONA is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of successful leadership experience in a Director of Nursing or equivalent position within a long-term care facility.
• Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical skills, knowledge of regulations and standards, and the ability to manage budgets, teams, and technology effectively.
